MAPPING YOUR FIELD OF VISION
Visual Field Analyser
A Visual Field Test measures how well you can see objects in different areas of your field of vision, including areas you may not notice are missing.
ABOUT THE TEST
What is a Visual Field Test?
You look at a central target and respond whenever you see small lights appearing around it.
The test creates a map of your peripheral (side) vision.
WHY IT’S DONE
Why is it done?
It is particularly important for:
Identifying visual field loss
Monitoring optic nerve disorders
Assessing neurological conditions affecting vision
Tracking changes over time
WHY IT MATTERS
Why is it important?
Some eye conditions, especially glaucoma, can cause gradual loss of peripheral vision without noticeable symptoms. Regular visual field testing helps your ophthalmologist detect and monitor these changes.
THE TEST IS
Non-invasive
Painless
No contact with the eye
